Jobs, French Exchange Students, Spring Break, and of Course Teh LOLZ

Well yipes! Lots of good news! Lots of activities!

  • Applied to 18 jobs yesterday (I have an interview at PacSun tomorrow, and a few "connections" in other stores)
  • Just found out that I got into Actor's Academy 2009! (For more info click here)
  • Starting to plan Toby Awards
  • Starting to plan ITS initiations
  • Financial aid on its way from Pratt within the next week! (cross your fingers)

And this is all skimming the surface. In other exciting news, my sister brought home a French exchange student. My sister speaks hardly any French and the girl speaks hardly any English, and I took Spanish. So, we've been having a grand ol' time for the past 20 minutes that I've known her. The girl is very quiet, but I suppose that makes sense. I think I weird her out because I am very loud and animated. That's cool though. I felt a little stupid coming home and microwaving myself a mini pizza... foolish Americans... eating pizza. The girl has never seen a beach before, so my sister will probably take her there this weekend. They went to the mall earlier today... and they're going to the Wild Animal Park on Sunday, methinks. We're giving her more of "The Real California Experience" than "The Real American Experience." But we eat pizza in California, so it's whatever. I'm thinking we should definitely rent one of my all-time favorite movies, "Better Off Dead," and turn French subtitles on so zee little Frenchie can watch it with us... one of the characters- a really fat nerd- gets a French exchange student, and, well, I suppose you can figure out the paralellism by now.

You can take Ricky back to France with you!

She just came into my room and gave me some little giftees! So sweet! She gave me a ring, a pretty necklace and a little bottle of perfume. Tray-bee-in!

For whatever reason, throughout several points in this past year the topic of "Matilda" has come up. Yes, "Matilda," the movie with Danny DeVito. And, for whatever reason, I am able to quote the entire movie. Well, actually, the reason is that "Matilda" is a really good movie.

For your viewing pleasure, I have provided a clip of what I assert to be one of the most memorable moments in cinematic history:

My youngest sister looks like a young version of Matilda. And it's funny because I looked like Matilda too when I was her age. And I can move things with my mind!

Things I Would Buy If I Had A Disposable Income, Or Any Sort Of Income
  • Hair dye
  • Tattoo
  • Car/gas
  • iPod
  • Video Camera
  • Tuition to any school of my choosing
  • Another laptop
  • Paint
Speaking of which, I think that with the conclusion of this year's musical I now have some downtime to work on a new canvas piece. My first stab was satisfying, for a first try:

Oh yeah, and I want a professional camera that yields better results than this fuzzy massacre... which, coincidentally, is also the name of my new band.

FUZZY MASSACRE

Spring Break is next week. I'm not sure what I'm going to do since half of my friends already had their Spring Break, and the other half is going to Greece and Italy (1 friend). Just playin'. But seriously, there are two ways of looking at this: I could either spend the whole break eating, or spend the whole break dieting and exercising. Realistically, it will be a combination of both: eating followed by treacherous workout session followed by more binge eating. How else do think I maintain this dancer figure?

I have a nasty habit of throwing water bottles on the ground by my bed after they are empty; I cleared out a ton of them a long time ago... by now I probably have around 15-20 re-accumulated. I should recycle them. Can I get money for that? Because if I make a conscious effort to save the environment then damn it to hell if I'm not going to get paid to do it.

Riddle:
If I post the aforementioned statement on the internet, and 1 million environmental extremists who do not understand the concept of sarcasm surf the internet everyday, then how many angry comments will I receive in 5 years?
