DAMN IT ALL!
I had a flood of thoughts the other night and in a couple hours pooped out a one-act. I wanted to post it for your viewing and criticism, but I altered it around a bit to fit it into the Toby Awards, which is top secret business. So now, it's confidential.
The Toby Awards are an annual awards show giving recognition to our school's thespians. It's a tradition put into the hands of the drama-associated seniors, who go about the preparation of The Toby's discretely, keeping the annual theme a locked up secret until the day we deliver formal invitations. On the evening of the Toby's, everyone gets dressed up, we roll out the red carpet, and everyone who was involved in drama at all that year comes and watches our (what we aim to be) comical awards show. It's an exciting event, but we're way behind... of course, we have no set SCHEDULE so it's difficult to determine how FAR behind we really are, but... I'm about a quarter way finished writing the entire script. I hope everyone can be memorized in a month. But alas... I've said too much already.

-This is driving me crazy because I said a word I really liked today and I'm pretty sure it had a 'D' and at least two 'A's. It was a really great word. Crap. CRAP! Was it 'adamant'? No, although that is a good word. I think it was an adjective. Shoot. And I think it may have a similar definition to 'demeanor'... unless I'm thinking of the word 'countenance'... which is ALSO a cool word but does not contain a 'D' or enough 'A's. 'Admonish'? No, too squishy. Frick. I USED it today! I think I used it in conversation, so there's a good possibility that it's not written down... and if it is written down, it's probably in my test booklet for the AP Gov test I took today which I'll never get back. Wah! 'Dastardly'? No... sounds too much like 'bastard'. Ohh boy. New topic. This is going to bother me forever. Because THIS IS THE IMPORTANT STUFF IN LIFE.
Oh yeah, today was AP Gov testing. Totally not up for jinxing it, but it wasn't as beastly as I anticipated. The free response questions weren't as easy as the multiple choice, but at least I was able to give an answer. Tomorrow I take the AP Stats test... and I'm going to take it seriously...... pppppaAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man, couldn't keep a straight face through that one. Stats is ridiculously hard, and they grade the test really harshly. I've been barely passing the class, so how I am expected to get a 3 or above on the official exam is beyond me. I'll try, but trust me, if I feel like I didn't know anything on the test, I won't be crying myself to sleep asking, "Why? WHY?!"
Upon my completion of the novel Catch-22, I'm going to start reading a book my aunt sent me, called "The Book Thief." It looks potentially interesting.
Meanwhile, back in entertainment land, the question on everybody's lips is: are they going to have a new season of 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia'?
